Anzac day weekend..

Okay so it really sucks not having a camera and having to take dodgey pics on my phone...hence why I only have a few for this post...
This weekend Jess and I headed to Sunny Hobart for a YSA camp...Friday morning we braved the cold at the ANZAC day dawn service...then we warmed ourselves up with some brekky at the Kings ... Friday evening we headed down to the huon to set up camp...it was cold....and raining...but we had a fire and a yummo tin foil dinner...sleeping in the tent wasn't to bad until the sun started coming up and the temperature dropped and we started to FREEZE...
Saturday we headed back into town to catch up with Pes and baby Minol...he's getting so big now!
Saturday night we got ready for a true blue dinky di bush dance...
Me and Jess all ready for the bush dance...

Everyone looked great in their country bumkin outfits...

My place...

Okay so despite the whinges I have about living so far away...it is pretty awesome...this is the beach I get to walk along every day after school:)

Today we had Paul and Jackson visit to put in some new heaters for us:)

So here it is MY beach...

Driving days...

Living in Bridport and having a social life = LOTS of driving...so this is the view I see alot of...my dash board. Of course this pic was taken by my friend Fred as I would not be using my mobile phone while driving Constable Simon :) The Sky also looked sweet on this night of reflection...pity about the state of my windscreen!!

Sausage rolls on a Sunday night...

As you will tell from this post it's been a quiet week...EXCEPT for Adi and Chels's Engagement pary yesterday...I have never seen so much food in my life...the good thing about this is that there were lots of leftovers...mmm I love leftovers...Mum had made 140 sausage rolls for the occasion (and mums homemade sausage rolls are the best) So tonight I got to mung on the leftovers! So this blog is really a big shout out congratulations to Adi and Chels and thanks for the Tucka!
By the way if you want to see a more detailed description of what happened at the party then check out the bloginators site (Lisa King) Unfortunatly no-one caught on camera the best part of the party...the part where we dared Dale to walk into the middle of the crowded lounge room shout "hey guys check this out" and smash a mini meringue on his own face!! Thanks for the laughs Dale and for being a good sport:)

How we love Wineglass...

Easter Saturday we had a stake YSA walk into wineglass bay (thanks Jade and Facebook for the pic) Dale and Brad are supposed to be up the back somewhere. At this point in time the oranised group met the late group on the track (us heading out, them heading in) the organised group was in a hurry so our diligent mentor Aaron could get back for some dinner...(oh and have time to stop at the bakery!) Unfortunately Dale kept my bag and camera which is why I have no photo's of us at the top:(
All in all a fun and fast paced day!

Hit the Target...

Jessica and I decided we needed some 'corporate wear' for the up and coming Debate...we decided to hit Target...mainly as this is one of the few shops open on a Friday night... Target have moved their change rooms to the other side of the store...they are very roomy now!
Jessica decided to try an eighties look to see if she could carry it off...ah-hem....NO!

Needless to say we didn't make any purchases...shopping without money is better than no shopping at all:)

Pics from the Hobart Wharf...How Original:)

At risk of jumping on the bandwagon and joining all the other YSA bloggers I present pictures from the Hobart Wharf... This proves one thing...the ONLY good thing about Hobart is the random statues on the wharf...perfect for taking random pics...:) Here is me skiing... Here's the big jump...(bit fuzzy blame Jess's silly art school SLR professional camera...give me point and shoot simplicity any day!!)
Snap...
Hmm looks like a better party over that way...
This is some famous explorer...he taught me alot!
Little Hayden...
again...
The amazing thing is that these pics were only taken a couple of weeks ago and i'm in Hobart wearing T-shirt and Shorts...they reached a top of 12degrees today...go figure...
